Turning 35 isn't an everyday occurrence. And Grupo Téciman knows that well.
And even less so when we talk about a company that was born in 1991 in Burgos and that, since then, has been able to evolve at the pace of the industry, face new challenges and grow without losing sight of what defines it: specialization, innovation and, above all, people.
The magazine Executive Sector, in its September 2026 edition, echoes the celebration of 35th anniversary of Grupo Téciman, a particularly significant moment for our company and for all the people who have been and are part of this story.
35 years growing with you
The past May 29The Saldañuela Palace, in Burgos, hosted an institutional event that brought together More than 400 people arrived from different parts of Spain.
Customers, suppliers, employees, and representatives from the business, political, and social worlds joined us in a celebration that served not only to look back and remember the path traveled, but also to value the present and face with enthusiasm everything that is to come.
During the event, Miguel Ángel García de la Fuente, CEO and general manager of Grupo Téciman and founding partner of the companyHe summarized the meaning of this anniversary with a phrase that perfectly reflects the moment we are living in:
“After 35 years of growing with you, today we are a group.”
This evolution represents much more than a name change. It is the result of over three decades of work, specialization, and constant adaptation to the needs of our clients and the transformation of the industry.
From Burgos to the world
Grupo Téciman was founded in Burgos in 1991 as a company specializing in engineering and industrial metrology services. From those early days to the present, the company has built a track record based on technical expertise, adaptability, and a continuous commitment to innovation.
Today, Grupo Téciman has an international presence and participates in projects for some of the most strategic industrial sectors, including automotive, aeronautics, energy and rail.
The growth of these 35 years has led the group to currently work on more than 15 countriesconsolidating an international dimension that maintains intact the essence with which the project began.
A shared anniversary
One of the most special aspects of this celebration was precisely being able to share it with those who have accompanied Grupo Téciman during these years.
Because a company isn't built solely on numbers, projects, or results. It's built with people.
People who trust, who contribute knowledge, who work every day to overcome new challenges and who make it possible for a company to continue moving forward for three and a half decades.
This was also reflected in the speeches of the various authorities who participated in the event, who highlighted the trajectory of Grupo Téciman, its capacity for evolution and its contribution to the business and industrial fabric.
Looking back to keep moving forward
Celebrating 35 years means recognizing all that has been achieved, but also remembering that a company's trajectory is marked by decisions, changes, and moments in which it has been necessary to reinvent itself.
As the president of the Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos pointed out during the event, Ignacio San MillánReaching 35 years in a sector as demanding as the industrial one demonstrates precisely that ability to evolve, adapt and grow without losing its essence.
And that is probably one of the best ways to define the path taken by Grupo Téciman.
