3D scanning Téciman

Teciman brings its 3D scanning skills to Link Innova Engineering in the redesign of a motorcycle helmet. Link Innova is a leading developer of protection systems for the automotive and motorcycling industries.

The project consists of 3D scanning of a clay model previously designed and made by the client. The final objective of the work is to draw up the manufacturing plans for the helmet.

We carry out the work in our laboratory and in direct contact with the client. The latter provides specific instructions on elements of special interest as they are critical parts of the hull. He also checks the entire process together with our team.
To ensure the functionality of the helmet, some specific parts are scanned separately, such as the visor and its mechanisms.

The work is developed in a closed package format so that The client has no surprises regarding the cost and duration of the project., thus ensuring a quality result.

For our metrologists it was a curious and beautiful project as it was so closely linked to the artistic part of the process.
