The manufacturer&#039;s recommendation was to purchase new equipment, which entailed a considerable investment and lost time. So we proposed a<strong> more efficient and profitable alternative: the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrologiateciman.com\/metrologia-3d\/retrofit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">retrofit<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Technical analysis and improvement strategy<\/h3>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Our technical team traveled to the client&#039;s facilities to assess the status of the affected machine, a <strong>Brown &amp; Sharpe Xcel Large<\/strong>After a thorough analysis, it was determined that the electronics were beyond repair and needed to be replaced.<\/p>\n<p>However, instead of opting for a conventional replacement, we identified a<strong> opportunity to improve team performance<\/strong>, considering that the company had increased its production and required <strong>reduce cycle times<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Implemented solution: retrofit and 5-axis measurement technology<\/h3>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">To optimize the measurement process, we performed a time simulation and selected a combination of advanced technologies:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Electronics Control UCC T5<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>PH20 head of <a href=\"https:\/\/marketing.metrologiateciman.com\/c\/qw025o\/trju_wgo\/tuhqlp_bjrk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Renishaw<\/a><\/strong>, with 5-axis measurement capacity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks to this solution, we achieved a <strong>significant reduction in measurement times<\/strong>, improving process efficiency and adapting it to current customer needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Results and benefits obtained<\/h3>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">After the intervention, our team performed the <strong>adjustment and <a href=\"https:\/\/marketing.metrologiateciman.com\/c\/qw025o\/trju_wgo\/scyrftzgpr4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ENAC calibration<\/a><\/strong> of the machine, leaving it fully operational.
