As an example of a recent case, our technicians performed a\u00a0Full update<\/strong>\u00a0from the coordinate measuring machine (MMC<\/strong>)\u00a0ZEISS PMC 850<\/strong>\u00a0making it fully operational and with software installation\u00a0TouchDMIS.<\/a> This project was a challenge due to the age of the machine, which dates back to the 1980s.<\/p>\n

The client's objective,\u00a0Iname Industries<\/a>\u00a0–\u00a0machining company belonging to Basque Metal Group<\/em>, was to make operational a three-dimensional machine of great value that had fallen into disuse over the years. The work was fully developed\u00a0on site<\/strong>, at the client's facilities in Navarra.<\/p>\n

Procedure carried out:<\/h6>\n

First,\u00a0T\u00e9ciman's technical team<\/a>, made a\u00a0in-depth review of the mechanical part<\/strong>\u00a0of the machine. Replacing the necessary elements (belts, pneumatic tube, cleaning of skates and guides, etc.) to achieve its correct operation.<\/p>\n

After,\u00a0the electronics were updated<\/strong>\u00a0to Renishaw UCC, together with the\u00a0reading rules<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0encoders<\/strong>\u00a0with Renishaw 0.1 \u00b5m resolution.<\/p>\n

Subsequently,\u00a0the software was installed<\/strong>\u00a0TouchDMIS CAD<\/a>\u00a0at the latest level, thus achieving all the capabilities of modern software and the ease of use of TouchDMIS.<\/p>\n

To achieve better functionality\u00a0A robotic head was added<\/strong>\u00a0Renishaw PH10M with additional rotation axes. In addition, a\u00a0automatic changer<\/strong>\u00a0of TP20 probe modules, model\u00a0Renishaw<\/a>\u00a0MCR20. These latest improvements are due to the fact that the three-dimensional machine had a fixed head as standard, which meant that it could not orient the probes, thus limiting its performance.<\/p>\n
