railway cybersecurity

Téciman collaborates in the Implementation of railway networks and cybersecurity of two new train lines with a leading railway company.

The client requires specific knowledge in projects in different countries. Specifically in Israel and in a European city. Our engineers, integrated into their team, They move to different locations contributing their know-how.

Network implementation in Israel

The Israel project consists of the design of an architecture formed by three networks: a network of Signaling, another of Operations  and finally a network Administrative.

Our engineering team is involved in all the work and installation of the system, following the safety requirements referred to in the specifications. This project is still ongoing, specifically in the PTO2 phase, testing the mobility of the train.

Railway Cyber Security (BSI)

Thanks to this experience, Téciman is negotiating the scope of another railway cybersecurity project in a European city. This is a specification with requirements of BSI cybersecurity which accompany subsystems involved outside the civil works. There are four subsystems in total:

  • CBTC (autonomous driving with and without driver), which require more safety controls
  • 1 Inherent subsystem requiring the requirement platform doors (communications, safety controls…)

At the moment, Teciman is involved in various railway sector projects at national and international level.

For example: supervision of electrification, telecommunications and safety of high-speed lines, construction and HSEQ management of superstructures, technical office of catenaries and substations…
